WHO WE ARE

We are the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Conference. We are a diverse family of churches that are both urban and rural, stretching from Alberta to Ontario and into Mexico, Belize and Bolivia and all have a unique ministry we are called to.  As disciples of Jesus we desire to reflect the heart and character of God. Disciples of Jesus grow, not for the sake of growth or the sake of increased knowledge, but for the sake of loving God with all we are and loving our neighbor as ourselves. As we grow in our understanding of who we are and the church God has called us to be, we take action to a renewed obedience and response to Jesus' exhortation to "Make Disciples" in Matthew 28:18-20. This focus will result in God glorified.

  • Medical Emergency Causes Financial Hardship

    July 19, 2017
Our MEM team in Bolivia is asking for financial help with the medical expenses for a family whose baby had severe health issues when it was born. Extended family, the Villa Nueva Church and other friends have stepped in to help, but about $7,000 in expenses still remain unpaid, and this poor family has no means to cover those costs. If you would like to help you can send a cheque made out to EMMC and marked Bolivia Relief Fund to the EMMC office, or click on  “Give, Gather, Go” and select your preferred way to donate to the Bolivia Relief Fund. For more information on this situation please contact EMMC Missions Facilitator Abe Giesbrecht at 204-324-3019. Thank-you for your help.
  • The Gathering 2017

    July 11, 2017
"You are recording these sessions right?", "All these workshops are great, but I can't make it to each one, are they going to be available?".  Many of you asked, and we made sure we could deliver.  The event was very well attended.  Our main speaker Pastor Mark Clark gave us powerful messages from God's word.  Pastor Kenny Warkentin shared openly and honestly with us about how to love the broken people around us.  Workshop presenters were well prepared and engaging on a variety of topics, giving our people resources and inspiration.  We also had the opportunity to honor our past with a Sold Out Celebration Dinner.  We celebrated our 80 year history, and some of the people who were instrumental in EMMC ministry.
