A visit to the office

- by Pastor Al & Anita Kehler

Most of my journals are about ministry trips, but there are always things happening right here at the office as well, so this time I would like to zero in and share a few things.  I would also invite you to come for a visit, whether it is just to say hello, stay for coffee, or if you want to talk to any one of us privately.  We want to be here for you.

If you have called to the office you probably will have spoken to our Administrative Assistance, Tracy.  If you have visited our office then you probably will have been greeted by Tracy.  If you have stayed for coffee it probably was made by Tracy.   We appreciate the many gifts that Tracy brings to our staff including her interest in Missions.  She has taught 3 school years in our Pailón School in Bolivia, before she came to work in the office 2 years ago.  What could be better than that?   Well along comes Andrew Dueck and asks Tracy for her hand in marriage.  What a pleasure to be involved in their wedding which took place on May 15 in the Glencross Mennonite Church.   As staff we are happy to have Tracy back in the office and also appreciate Andrew’s humor when we get together at staff outings.

Darrell & Elaine Kehler brought Missionaries Wayne & Sadie Thiessen to spend the day in our office.  As they got to know the staff members over coffee and later lunch, we were able to get to know them more personally.  We then went downstairs to the Fireside Room where others joined us for their official report.  Wayne & Sadie together with their 6 children are the pastor family in the Pailón Church in Bolivia.  Pastor Bill & Martha Kehler, La Crete, are now filling their place in the Pailón Church during the Thiessen’s 2 month home assignment.

Jacob Friesen is in Ontario right now so he has missed some of the visitors in our office, but we are looking forward to having him return to the office on July 7th.  I am sure he will have stories to tell of what is all going on in Ontario.

God is at work everywhere and wishes for everyone to be saved and to live out our lives so others will be drawn into His Kingdom.  May we be found faithful!

"The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!"

Because of His great LOVE,

Anita
