Missions Beyond EMMC – Associate Missionaries

EMMC’s Associate Missionary program provides a measure of financial support for EMMC members serving with other mission agencies in parts of the world where EMMC does not have a direct ministry. Currently, over 20 units (singles, couples, families) receive in the neighborhood of $3,000 each annually through the EMMC missions budget. This support would not be possible without your continued, generous contributions.

This year we say thank-you to Chris and Elaine Hurst, long time Wycliffe Bible Translators into the Nahuatl language in Mexico. They have been Associate Missionaries for many years and now pass on the opportunity to receive some financial assistance to another missionary couple. Chris and Elaine, on behalf of the EMMC I thank-you for your faithful service and the many years dedicated to providing others with the Word of God in a written language.
And, we say WELCOME to Keith (Last name omitted), Diedrich and Nettie Friesen and Dory Richards, three new Associate Missionaries who will be receiving financial support from EMMC beginning with the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

Keith serves with Advancing Indigenous Missions (AIM) to link churches in Canada with faithful, effective church planting ministries among unreached people groups in remote parts of the world.

Diedrich and Nettie Friesen, with Multi-Nations Mission Foundation (MMF), provide music and teaching resources in the Low German language. Their music ministry, D’ Friesens, takes them to various parts of Canada and Central and South America.

You’ll read about these and the other Associate Missionaries by clicking their links, in The Recorder and other EMMC resources as they provide updates and reports of their ministries.

Thank you for your prayers and continued support for our EMMC missions efforts.
