Interim EMMC Executive Director
The EMMC General Board is pleased to announce that Terry Hiebert of Steinbach, MB has agreed to become the Interim Executive Director. Terry has been a long-time professor and Academic Dean at Steinbach Bible College. This past year, he served as Interim President of the college during their presidential search. Currently Terry is teaching one course at SBC as well as doing some administrative work for the college.
Terry will begin this interim role with EMMC on January 1, 2024, so that he and Lyn Dyck will have a one-month overlap. He is willing to serve on a half-time basis for up to a year (or less if an Executive Director is found during that time). Terry will be overseeing our staff and carrying out the basic duties of our Executive Director, working from home and in the Winnipeg office one day a week.
Earlier this year, Lyn Dyck, current Executive Director submitted his resignation to the General Board advising that he will be leaving the position end of January 2024.
We invite you to keep praying, asking God as to who should be our next EMMC Executive Director. Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would “guide you into all the truth” and “tell you what is yet to come.” (John 16:13) God loves the EMMC and will lead us to the one he has chosen
