Getting ready to leave for an out-of-country assignment always has one ‘last’ thing to be done or picked up. Darrell and Elaine Kehler stopped by the EMMC Home Office on January 15 for those last-minute items before they headed off to the airport. Well-wishes and blessings were shared, and then Al Kehler, Darrell’s dad, delivered them to the Winnipeg airport.

Darrell and Elaine have accepted the assignment as Interim MEM Bolivia Field Directors and will serve in this role until mid April. Having lived and ministered in Bolivia for more than 10 years, they are well acquainted with both the Low German MEM ministries and the Spanish speaking LIEAB ministries. Their fluency in both Low German and Spanish makes them well suited for this interim position.

Your prayers and encouragement are appreciated as the Kehlers spend time with the MEM team, offering guidance and support. They will also connect with LIEAB leaders and churches, helping strengthen relationships and build meaningful collaboration between LIEAB and MEM.

Darrell is the Director of Discipleship for EMMC.
