Did God give modern Israel to the Jews? That is the subtitle of Steinbach Bible College’s upcoming fall course, Two Views on Christian Zionism. This course will explore two different views on Christian Zionism. As part of this process, students will learn about the history of Israel and of the Zionist movement, evaluate the biblical and theological arguments for and against Christian Zionism, and consider how Christians should respond to the current Israel/Palestine controversy.

By the end of this course, students will better understand how Christians from different perspectives think about Israel and Zionism. Regardless of one’s personal view on this topic, the goal is that students will come out of this course equipped to think critically about this challenging issue.

The course is taught by Michael Zwaagstra, a long-time instructor at Steinbach Bible College. Michael has many years of experience helping students navigate challenging theological topics.
