Thankful for Ministry Workers

Blue Creek EMMC, Belize

On Sunday, January 28, Jesse Penner of Spanish Lookout was recommissioned in our Blue Creek Church for his second term as our Youth Pastor. He has agreed to another one-year term. It is great to see him work and connect with our youth.

Sunday March 3 saw Abram and Margaret Rempel be commissioned into our Blue Creek Church as a deacon couple. They have committed for a three-year term. We are excited to have them join our church ministry.

The EMMC Region 6 council was pleased to announce and commission Diedrich Dyck and his wife, Tina, as Regional Pastor on March 24, 2024. They have been part of ministry in Belize and Southern Mexico for about 35 years, and it is great to welcome them as they take on this role.

On April 28, 2024, we held baptism and membership service. Ten young people were joyfully baptized, and eight of these candidates took on membership as well. Jeronomo Klassen and Tyrell Janzen were baptized, and James Bueckert, Sara Schmitt, Evelyn Bueckert, Roxanne Banman, Bianca Krahn, Desirae Fehr, Yvonne Friesen, and Kimberly Hiebert took on baptism and membership.
